CA Kids:

At Church Alive, it is our deep conviction that we, as leaders and adults, are responsible for ministering to our children. We also believe that children are equipped by the Holy Spirit to be vital participants in the church’s ministry. CA Kids seeks to equip children to live the Christian life by teaching them to know Scripture and to become worshippers. We want to empower kids to hear God’s voice for themselves, to share their faith and to obey God’s Word. Our kids workers and leaders seek to model holy, healthy and whole relationships in order to help children develop and mature in their own relationships. Classes meet every Sunday and Wednesday and are filled with age-appropriate instruction through object lessons, crafts, praise and worship, activities, service projects, and high-energy learning games.

CA Youth:

Our youth ministry is dedicated to helping junior high and high school students grow deeper in their relationship with God. We seek to accomplish this by teaching our youth to know and apply the Word of God in their daily lives, imparting a living knowledge of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to them, and empowering them in the Holy Spirit to serve and develop their spiritual gifts and ministry skills. We desire to equip our youth to be agents of restoration in their families and communities by building healthy and holy relationships with parents, authority figures, peers and those younger than them. Our goal is to help them build a strong foundation of biblical values that can resist immoral temptations found in culture, entertainment, the internet and media. We also desire for them to be stretched out of their comfort zones and catch a vision and passion for what the Holy Spirit is doing in different cultures and nations around the world. CA Youth meets at the church every Wednesday at 6:00pm in the NextGen room.

CA Young Adults:

Church Alive’s college and career group is based on the truth in Psalm 1 - that the blessed man is one who ‘is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.’ The mission is to give twenty-somethings a safe place to put down roots in their walk with the Lord and develop real relationships of accountability with one another. They meet two Wednesday nights a month for teaching and Bible study and one Saturday night a month for fun and fellowship…and food.

Men’s Ministry (2717):

People are hungry for healthy relationships. Yes, people includes men. That’s why our men’s ministry focuses on developing relationships with other godly men that will last. We meet together periodically for fellowship, prayer, Bible study, fun, and food. We work together to keep each other accountable in our work, our marriages, our families and our walk with God. As we grow stronger together, we then use that strength to help those around us, reaching out to the community outside the church walls.

Women’s Ministry (Flourish):

Women, both inside and outside the church, are looking for a place to be real, honest and safe with each other. Glitter women’s ministry works to develop lasting friendships and build trust with other women. It’s a place for women to utilize their unique gifts, talents and strengths as they seek to be a reflection of Jesus in their world. Glitter creates an environment where women can pray, study the Word, share their hearts and grow together, building one another and their families up in the faith.

Couples Ministry (Covenant Couples):

In a culture with a 50 percent divorce rate, Church Alive desires for you and your spouse to “divorce-proof” your marriage. Covenant Couples meets monthly for teachings on marriage and family life, as well as to fellowship and develop strong friendships with other couples. The goal of this ministry is to equip couples to maintain balanced marriages and healthy family lives. For more personal and in-depth ministry, marriage and family counseling are also available at any time throughout the year.

Seniors Ministry (Crown Jewels):

For those ages 50 and older, Crown Jewels meet regularly for prayer, Bible study, fellowship and - a lot of food. This ministry encourages taking part in fulfilling activities and friendships during the best season of life. We are committed to enjoying life and the Giver of life, whether through taking weekend trips together, engaging in community service projects, encouraging and mentoring the younger members of the church, or just doing life together. We want to be good stewards of the life God has given us, no matter what season we’re in.

Outreach and Missions:

Church Alive believes strongly in Jesus’ Great Commission: “Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-21). Our hearts’ desire is, at all times, with our lives and with our words, to make people thirsty to experience the love of God in Christ Jesus. Through the power of the promised Holy Spirit, we seek to disciple, equip, teach, and mentor believers to become servant leaders in their work, families, church and around the world. As they are equipped, they and then able to take the good news of the Gospel to hurting and thirsty people – in our own backyards and around the globe. We also support mission endeavors in places like Indonesia, China, Thailand, Israel, Spain, Indonesia and beyond.

Restore Ministry:

Restore is a ministry of inner healing. It is a dedicated time of fellowship with Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. During a Restore session, the goal is to hear what God is uniquely saying to the individual and deal with any issue(s) that might be hindering their closeness to Him, resulting new levels of freedom in their walk with God. Please email us for more information about a Restore session.

Care Ministry:

Jesus modeled a focus on relationships by discipling and pouring His life into twelve ordinary men. Through pastoring, modeling, impartation, and releasing, Jesus trained ordinary men to do extraordinary exploits. At Church Alive, we take Jesus’ discipleship command seriously. Our Care ministry exists to meet the needs of everyone who comes through our doors – not just the members of the church. Care team members are available to pray with people about their needs, ensure they are connected relationally to people in our church, and to help with any practical needs that can be met. This ministry’s heart is to take care of the Body of Christ, making sure the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of the people in our family are met. We are also dedicated to reaching beyond the walls of the church to serve our community. Our pastoral staff is committed to providing encouragement, help to the less fortunate and those in prison, prayer, counseling, hospital visitation, and individual or family ministry whenever it is needed. We strive to be the hands and feet of Christ – help, encouragement, a listening ear, whatever is needed – to the Body of believers and the surrounding community.

Life Groups (Small Groups):

Our Life Groups were designed to build community within community. Creating a small group of believers, to love, grow, and learn in Word and lifestyle with other like-minded believers, is the essential basis of this ministry area. Open to all people looking for a place to build relationship with similar needs and intimate spaces can study and talk about Christian topics, share lifestyle encouragement, and study biblical concepts. Life Groups meet weekly during Spring and Fall semesters. Topics, meeting places, and time of the week to congregate are shared approximately three weeks before the session starts. Interested participants can sign-up, share with others in the community and workforce, and set aside committed time to enjoy and build relationships with other participants.
