We know visiting a new church can leave you feeling a little uncertain about what to expect. So, here are answers to some questions we typically get.
We are located at 276 MS-28 in Magee. We are one mile outside of the city limits of Magee on the left of Hwy 28 as if you were going towards Mize or Laurel.
Being on time is always good, but occasionally we are all late for something. Don’t sweat it. You are always welcome. Our greeters and hostess at our Welcome Center will be there to greet you and to answer any questions you may have.
No need to feel like you have to dress up in your “Sunday best”. Dress comfortably, but modestly please.
At Church Alive, we are a multi-generational, multi-ethnic community. Singles of all ages, families with children and teenagers and single parent families are all welcome here.
Our music is scripturally based, contemporary praise and worship. We have a full band that consists of guitars, drums, etc. Entering into worship prepares our hearts to receive what the Lord has for us.
Expect there to be no expectations. There’s nothing special you need to know ahead of time. Come and enjoy the worship, grow in your faith and meet new friends.
At Church Alive, we believe in applying Scripture to real-life and never compromising God’s truth. You won’t find watered-down teachings here. Pastor Gene’s teachings focus on the life transforming power of God’s Word to change your life and strengthen your relationship and walk with the Lord.
Service begins at 10:00am and typically ends between 11:15 and 11:30am.
Our vision is as wide as it is deep, and our goal is to continually reach out to our community and share the love of Jesus. We will always be growing. Our desire is to faithfully serve and minister to all that God sends to us this week, next week, and in the years to come.
At Church Alive, our children are our future and we believe in providing a safe, fun environment for all ages to learn how much God loves them. We know how important it is for them to cultivate a strong relationship with their Heavenly Father and our exciting, Bible-based CA Kids classes, activities and praise and worship will have your children asking to come back every week.
Our CA Youth Ministry is dedicated to helping junior high and high school students grow deeper in their knowledge of and relationship with God and His Word, equipping them to deal with life’s challenges. CA Youth meets Wednesdays at 6:00pm in the NextGen Room.
At Church Alive, we call our small groups “Life Groups”. Our Life Groups run by semesters: spring semester (February-May) and fall semester (September-December), covering a variety of subject matter. Ask one of our hostesses at our Welcome Center which groups are currently meeting. We’re sure you’ll find a group that is right for you!
